I love connecting readers with books.

I also love supporting local bookstores and businesses.
To do both, I decided to become an affiliate of a few different book companies.
Note: Being an affiliate means that when you purchase through the links on my site, I’ll receive a small commission, at no extra cost to you. Find out more here.
Thriftbooks
Here’s a place where you can buy books for affordable prices! Thriftbooks has been around for a couple of decades now, and I wish I’d known about them a bit sooner.
They sell books in a variety of conditions – new and pre-loved – which is partly how they are more affordable. Make sure you take a look at the various conditions to get the best price-condition combo you can!
They also partner with libraries and communities to help get books into hands that need them. Read more about Thriftbooks here.
I have purchased from them and have purchased for others through them. I highly recommend looking for your next book buy here!
Bookshop[dot]org
Bookshop is an ecommerce platform where readers can buy good books, and their sales support local bookstores.
No joke: according to their website, 75% of their profit margin goes toward local bookstores and authors!
I don’t know about you, but that seems incredible to me.
They don’t have the cheapest prices, but that means that local bookstores and authors benefit more when we purchase from Bookshop as compared to some other places. 🙂

You may also enjoy browsing my book lists on My Bookshop for some inspiration on what to read next! Even if you don’t buy from there, if you get some great ideas, it’s worth it to me. 🙂
Books-a-Million
They have a wide variety of books, games and book-related items for fairly reasonable prices. Their stores are not quite as plentiful as, say B&N, so you may not have one super close to you, but they do have a selection of e-books and they ship to anywhere in the U.S. (including U.S. territories and military APO/FPO addresses)!
Christianbook[dot]com
Since my faith is so important to me, I often write about books that have Christian beliefs or views undergirding what is written, and often, these books are available here.
They sell much more than books, and they give Bibles and other books across the globe to those who don’t have access to them. I like this business model!
